PAPSET Course Outcomes
On completion of the PAPSET qualification you will be able to:
Understand the purposes of standardised testing and how standardised assessments can be used alongside other forms of assessment
Explain the statistical concepts which underpin standardised assessments, enabling you to select reliable tests for your setting
Select, administer, and interpret a range of educational tests and assessments across all age ranges from primary to adult
Develop your proficiency and confidence when administering standardised tests
Present your findings in a way that can be easily understood by non-specialists
Oversee assessment in your institution, supporting your colleagues as they draw on data produced through standardised testing
Complete an additional unit to assess for Exam Access Arrangements
Purchase Pearson assessments, PAPSET graduates will receive Pearson’s CL2R qualification level
Purchase and administer assessments for ‘Reasonable Adjustments at the Certificate Examinations (RACE)’ in the Republic of Ireland
